ABOUT

Escape into the quiet woodlands of Little Bayou Wildlife Management Area, a beautifully restored tract in Ashley County where former farmland has transformed into thriving forest. Replanted in the early 1990s, the area now features a blend of bottomland and upland hardwoods mixed with stands of short-leaf pine—ideal habitat for a wide range of wildlife. Hunters will find excellent opportunities for deer, turkey, dove, and small game, with the WMA especially known for its outstanding rabbit hunting. A primitive campsite off County Road 104 offers RV pads for overnight stays, providing a peaceful retreat for those who want to linger in this rich and diverse forest landscape.

For complete information about hunting seasons, WMA regulations, and management practices, contact the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission.
