Magnolia Christmas Parade
ABOUT
Magnolia welcomes the holiday season with its dazzling Christmas Parade, returning this year under the festive theme “Bright Lights, Magnolia Nights.” Beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 5, the parade will travel along Jackson Street, filling downtown with sparkling lights, decorated floats, music, and the joyful spirit of South Arkansas Christmas traditions. Families line the route each year to watch community groups, churches, schools, and local organizations come together for one of Magnolia’s most cherished holiday celebrations.
Special awards will once again highlight outstanding entries, including the “Knock Your Socks Off” Award ($500), sponsored by Greg Rich & Associates; the “Christ in Christmas” Award ($250), sponsored by Farmers Bank & Trust; and the “Sugar Plum Award” ($250), sponsored by At Your Service. With creativity, holiday cheer, and friendly competition in the air, the Magnolia Christmas Parade promises a magical evening of lights and community pride — a perfect kickoff to the season in Columbia County.
